Washing Your Jersey
Treat stains first: Dampen any stubborn spots with cold water and apply a mild pre-wash stain remover before washing.
Turn inside out: This simple step stops vinyl sponsors, player names, numbers, and team crests from rubbing against other clothes and peeling.
Use a mesh bag: Place the jersey inside a mesh laundry bag for extra protection against stretching or snagging.
Select cold water and gentle cycles: HAND WASH IF ABLE. Set your washing machine to a cold, delicate cycle. Hot water melts vinyl adhesives and shrinks polyester.
Avoid harmful additives: Never use fabric softeners, heavy-duty detergents, or bleach.
Drying Your Jersey
Air dry only: Hang your jersey on a plastic hanger to air dry in a shaded, well-ventilated area.
Avoid the tumble dryer: High heat from dryers will warp the fabric, shrink the shirt, and crack the printed numbers or crests.
Keep out of direct sunlight: UV rays fade bright club colours over time.
